In this article, FLuuMP runs through his recent interview with Virge, explaining why you should make it your business to listen in…
We’re here with Virge – long time Rocket League coach on GamersRdy and now the coach for Dignitas since August 2019.
We’ll be digging into the background and value of coaching in the pro scene as well as looking at what it really means to be coaching an RLCS team.
I asked Virge a few questions in this short 10-minute interview covering some of the most frequently discussed points in coaching. We discussed these things:
- What does it mean to coach Dignitas?
- Why do you think it’s valuable for even the best players to be coached?
- What does coaching an RLCS actually look like?
- What are some of the things that you hope to see with the current Dignitas roster with Yukeo, ViolentPanda and AztraL
- How do you think coaching on GamersRdy has helped you in coaching Dignitas?
It was fascinating hearing everything that Virge had to say and you can be sure this won’t be the last time that you hear from him.
We are excited to announce @VirgeRL as our new @DIGRocketLeague coach! Welcome!

There have been plenty of roster changes in the build-up to RLCS Season 8, especially in the NA and EU regions which will be taking place in Madrid in December 2018. No doubt Dignitas will do their best to return to their place at the top of the Rocket League pyramid.
Virge has also created many in-depth video guides and published them on his YouTube channel which you should check out.
One of the most recent video tutorials was on the wave dash mechanic: definitely worth a watch for just 5 minutes if you’re looking to master that mechanic in the context of a match.
If you’re looking to get better at Rocket League there are loads of ways but it would be crazy to not mention that Virge is also available for booking a personal coaching session.
