Description of one of my coaching sessions:
First of all, we would have a chat about what you may feel you struggle with inside the game and I’ll ask a few questions to get an understanding of how you view the game and what you would like to achieve from this coaching session and the game overall.
Next, we would take a look at a replay and analyse it to allow you to see some of your mistakes and common misunderstanding in how you are playing the game at a competitive level and what you can do in game to make things easier on you and your team.
We will look at your playing habits, hours, warmup routine, and practise efficiency making sure every moment you spend on this game will be beneficial to the bigger picture. At the end of the session, we will make sure you are happy with the information I have provided and I will make sure that you have a good understanding of what I’ve said as well as summarising most of what we speak about during the session making sure you can keep these easy to remember and apply in game in the future.
Professional players I’ve worked with:
I’ve worked with Andy a lot and he really helped me/the team when he was a stand in coach for Savage!/FCB He is very direct and doesn’t beat around the bush when he is giving feedback but everything he says is in a polite and informative manner. I definitely recommend Andy as he has a lot of experience in the game and he understands the top level very well.
Andy has helped me improve my gameplay in lots of ways since I started working with him in May. One of the main things he has helped me with is fitting into my team, he has a very good understanding of the game and is very open to debate so you can understand each point if you don’t understand the first time. Andy is not only good on a team coaching style, he is very good 1 to 1 and can not only go over rotational mistakes but also personal mistakes that a lot of players would miss as Andy has worked with lots of good players and has spent most his time on Rocket League coaching and helping while also playing himself so he has the in game knowledge as well.
