About me:
Hello I’m Pethy. I am a member of the Rocket League YouTube team, Pulse Clan. You may have seen one of my montages on Rocket League FX or my Twitch stream. I am a player who is well known for his mechanics. When it comes to teaching people mechanics I believe I will be one of your best options.

I have a deep understanding of the mechanics of the game and I have a little trick or 2 for almost any mechanic in the game. I started playing this game in September of 2016, so relatively quite late vs a lot of people in the top rank. But I believe that hard work and persistence will make almost anyone into a top tier player of the game IF they know what they should be working on and how to train themselves to be the best possible. And that’s where I come in.

My Experience in playing & coaching:
I have been Top 100 in every mode in the game (except dropshot) and I have solo queued to Top 100 in every standard mode, and I have peaked at 2200 MMR. I understand all game modes very well and no matter if you’re a person in a team looking to make the next step WITH your team or just a person looking to climb the ranked ladder solo and get as high as they can or just someone that wants to learn certain mechanics but you don’t know how to start learning them, I can certainly help.

In the past, I have done a decent amount of coaching for people including live sessions, replay analysis, and team replay analysis. I enjoy coaching because it is a new challenge for me as a rocket league player, I want you to get better just as much as you want yourself to get better.

If you really want to improve on this game to the point you are interested in coaching for it, I believe you can improve massively if guided the right way. My coaching has in the past helped people realise mistakes that they couldn’t quite notice themselves. I try not to look at the “obvious” problems only but also more subtle things that will give you some real insight into the mistakes you make. It is very hard to see your own mistakes, even in hindsight, and a 2nd opinion on your gameplay can really help if you need it.

How it works:
This session can either be very structured or very flexible, depending on what you want. If you want to watch over replays for the entire thing, or just mess around in freeplay together and learn some mechanics for the entire thing, or whatever, that is fine. But if you want my more structured coaching session here’s what you can expect:

• We will join a discord call and we watch replay/s of some games (3 per hr max). Close games are preferable, no blowouts (so not you winning by a LOT or losing by a LOT). I find games that are close are the best for coaching and the closer the game is, the more you will get out of this session. We watch the replays together so I can explain what I think the mistakes in your play are.
• Once we know your mistakes we can play some casual games or private 1v1s so I can help you implement what we discussed in the replay section of the coaching. Again remember, this is all flexible and if you do/dont want to do a certain thing just let me know. The more you let me know about things like that the better, it will help us both get the most out of this session.
• After the session is over I will make you a training pack to help you with your mechanical weak points and I will write out a nice concise overview of what you should be practicing and how.

Even after the session is over you are free to message me if you have any questions. However, if you are looking for more in-depth coaching you will have to book again. If you do book me multiple times I can get a much better understanding of your gameplay and I can help you more.

I coach any region, any rank, any platform. However, if you are not on PC you will have to record and upload the games you want to be analyzed (3 max) as it is not possible for me to import your replay files from console.
